Life at EMMC

Bangor General Hospital opened in 1892 with 5 patient beds. Now ​Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, is a Level 2 Trauma Center, a Stroke Center of Excellence, and has 411 patient beds. The original building, known as the Greystone Building, can be seen (pictured below) and is still used today.
