Drive-Up Test Site Will Transition to Medical Screening
Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital’s Drive-Up Test Site will be transitioned to a Medical Screening Site starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24 from Noon - 4 pm.
With very limited testing criteria currently in place, we will be expanding the site to include medical screening for respiratory and other illnesses. COVID-19 testing will still occur for those with a provider’s lab order, and if they meet the screening and symptoms for current testing.
People will need to call our Screening Hotline at 844-489-1822 before stopping in so we can provide the safest, most efficient service to our community. The questions asked on this call will help determine next steps for your care, whether it be self-isolating at home, heading to a COVID-19 assessment site, or going to the hospital. The staff who answer the calls on this hotline will help determine the best next steps to ensure you get the right level of care in the right place.
Our Medical Screening Site is located on the hospital campus in Pittsfield at 141 Leighton Street in the parking lot of our Rehabilitation Services building. Please check back here or on our Facebook page for daily updates as schedules are subject to change.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Also, thank you to the Pittsfield Police and Fire departments for partnering with us on this important service.
We encourage you to visit cdc.gov or call 211 for more COVID-19 information and resources. Thank you.
