Mercy Hospital welcomes new leader of physician practices
“We feel very fortunate to have David join Mercy,” said Charlie Therrien, president of Mercy Hospital. “As a skilled operational leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the medical field, David is well positioned to lead the physician practices in the Mercy Medical Group. Working with our physician, practice, and executive leaders, he will work to drive the ongoing development of the expert care and services we offer the community.”

Prior to his role at Summit, he was vice president of The Cancer Hospital, Perioperative Services and The Neuroscience Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He also spent a number of years in Massachusetts where he led cancer services at Lahey Clinic and held management positions at Bay State Health System.
