Community Forum Planned for November 14

Date: 11/05/2018

Presque Isle, Maine (November 2, 2018) — Northern Light AR Gould Hospital (formerly TAMC) will be holding a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, November 14, at Northern Maine Community College.  This forum gets underway at 7:30 a.m. in the Edmunds Conference Center, and community members are invited to attend.

“This is a chance not only for people to hear an update from me on what is happening at the hospital, but perhaps more importantly to share their concerns and ask questions,” says Greg LaFrancois, president of the hospital.  “I am looking forward to having an open conversation with community members and getting their feedback as we discuss our role, our performance and areas in which we may be able to improve.”

LaFrancois explains that he will do his best to answer all questions raised at the forum. Participants are also encouraged to submit questions ahead of time.

“Receiving questions ahead of time is helpful because I want people to walk away from this event with as much information as possible.  The really tough questions might require more homework, and I would like to do that before the event,” says LaFrancois.

Light refreshments will be provided.  Community members are encouraged to RSVP so that food may be ordered appropriately.  To RSVP or to submit a question for the forum, please contact Lynn Dube at 207.768.4015 or ldube@northernlight.org.
