Mercy named a “Best Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report
For the second year in a row, Northern Light Mercy Hospital has been named a “Best Hospital” in Maine by U.S. News & World Report. The 2019-2020 hospital rankings
are based on patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, patient safety, and other measures, according to the report’s methodology.
This U.S. News & World Report recognition follows recent announcements that Mercy retained its top score of five stars in the updated hospital quality ratings issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Mercy was also recently named a top hospital by Newsweek and has consistently garnered top marks by The Leapfrog Group’s national hospital safety ratings
