Maine Coast Hospital and Blue Hill Hospital Announce New Vice President of Patient Care
Maine Coast Hospital and Blue Hill Hospital have appointed Kristin Cyr, RN, MSN, MBA, CHC, CHPC as the new Senior Nursing Executive and Vice President of Patient Care Services. This position, formally the Chief Nursing Officer, oversees and manages the nursing departments and patient care operations for the hospitals, maintains compliance with government and facility regulations, and ensures alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the two hospitals and Northern Light Health.
Cyr most recently served as the Northern Light Health Director of Compliance, and had the opportunity to work with both hospitals in that role. Prior to joining the EMHS Compliance team in 2014, Cyr worked for thirteen years in various clinical and leadership roles at Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Starting in mid-May, Cyr has already filled several key nursing positions throughout the organizations, building a strong and collaborative team to care for the patients of Hancock County.
