Save the Date - Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment
We need your voice at the table as we work to improve the health of our community! Save the date for the upcoming Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment (MSCHNA) Community Forums. The Health Needs Assessment is conducted every three years as a collaboration of EMHS, Central Maine Healthcare, MaineGeneral Health, and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We use this assessment to turn data into action.
Many community forums will be held across the state. All interested residents are encouraged to save the date, including business, legislative, healthcare, and community leaders. You can lend your voice to community health issues in our region that are important to you and provide suggestions to address the top public health concerns.
The Kennebec County Forum will be held on October 18, from 4-6pm at Thomas College. The Somerset County Forum will be held on October 17, from 3:30-5:30pm at Skowhegan High School. Registration information for each Forum will be shared in September. If you know of a specific organization or individual who would appreciate an invite to the Community Forums, please contact Baylee Doughty, firstname.lastname@example.org
