Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center makes U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” list
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center has been named a “Best Hospital” in Maine by U.S. News & World Report. The 2019-2020 Best Hospital by Region or State ranking is based on a number of factors, including patient experience and satisfaction, clinical outcomes, patient safety, and other measures, according to the report.

The Medical Center earned a ‘high-performing’ rating in four procedures or conditions, including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart failure, and knee replacement.
This is the latest in a string of recent awards presented to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. In the past 12 months, the hospital was named by Forbes as one of the best mid-size hospitals in the United States, and one of the Best Employers for Women.
