Free community sessions focus on keeping athletes safe

GettyImages-827507456.jpgBangor, Maine – Keeping athletes safe is on the forefront for coaches, parents, and athletic trainers. Whether you’re a collegiate, high school, or youth sports coach, or a parent to active kids, join Northern Light Sports Health athletic trainers and physicians for a night of important information regarding how to keep athletes healthy and safe.

Topics will be the same for each session and include concussion guidelines and care, in and out-of-season conditioning, proper warm-ups and cool downs, and injury prevention and intervention. Dates and times for the events are:
  • March 13, 7:30 pm at Old Town High School
  • March 20, 6 pm at Hampden Academy
