Healthy Life Resources is led by a team of local mental and behavioral health experts who understand Maine people and the needs of your organization.
Angela Fileccia, LCSW, director of Healthy Life Resources, has worked with children, adults, and elders in both psychiatric and medical hospitals, providing inpatient, acute psychotherapy, and care transition planning to patients with serious and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders. Her career has been spent helping patients in community-based settings, non-profit advocacy groups, and providing clinical supervision to case managers serving a wide variety of individuals, including those with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and HIV.
A natural teacher, Angela has mentored bachelors and masters level students, led a multi-disciplinary care management department, and helped found Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse located in Bangor, Maine.
Among her work today, Angela is spearheading a program for Northern Light Health’s 12,000+ workforce to address resiliency and mental well-being during this extraordinary and difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Angela lives in Orono with her husband, three loving dogs, and in her free time is both a yoga instructor and director of education for yoga teacher training program.
Chris McLaughlin, LCSW, is the Associate Vice President of Community and Pediatric Services at Northern Light Acadia Hospital. Chris has spent the last 20 years providing behavioral health services to youth and families across a variety of clinical settings including treatment foster care, residential treatment facilities, public schools, private practice, and community-based case management programs. Chris is an adjunct faculty member at both the University of Maine in Orono and Husson University in Bangor and is the Clinical Consultant for the Bangor YMCA. He serves on the Maine Board of Social Work Licensing and is a member of both the NASW and the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care (SSWLHC), where he is the current Maine Chapter President. He is a graduate of the Disney Institute leadership program and the Daniel Hanley Health Leadership Development (HLD) program. Nationally, Chris was the SSWLHC’s 2019 recipient of the Eleanor Clark Award for Innovative Programs in Patient Care for his work on youth suicide prevention. Locally, Chris was recognized in 2019 for his advocacy work with LGBTQ+ youth and was named Health Care Social Worker of the Year in 2019 by the Maine Hospital Association and the Maine Chapter of the SSWLHC for his work on the award winning Acadia CARES program. In the Spring of 2020, Chris was named the University of Maine School of Social Work's Alumni of the Year. Chris and his husband live in Hermon, Maine with their 3 dogs, Huck, Anna, and Becky.
Tanisha Gilbert is the program coordinator for Healthy Life Resources where she develops workflows and assists clients on their journey to becoming (or remaining) mentally strong, settled, flexible, safe, focused, healthy, and confident.
Tanisha previously worked as a quality contract consultant for Managed Care Contracting at Northern Light Health, supervising all quality contractual obligations. She ensured that all Northern Light Health member hospitals successfully provided exceptional quality care under those various agreements.
In Tanisha’s spare time, she loves to create art and do-it-yourself crafts. You can often find her and her family immersed in crafty projects every weekend!
