Go Red for Women

What if we said you could be a heart health hero by wearing red on February 2? The fact is, cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women, causing one in three deaths each year. That’s approximately one woman every minute!

Every year, the first Friday of February marks National Go Red for Women day. The day is intended to help raise awareness of heart disease, in particular among women. During this day, we make a commitment to rally together for change — to make a difference in our own lives and support others who are doing the same. By wearing red, you can be a heart health hero and inspire others at the same time.

I’m wearing red, but what else can I do?

Help Northern Light Health share a vision for a healthier Maine by wearing red on February 2!
