Interventional Pain Management Physician Assistant

Eastern Maine Medical has an opening for an Allied Health Professional within our Pain Management Clinic.  As a provider within the  Interventional Pain Management Clinic you would be in a position to play an integral role in relieving a great deal of this suffering without the use of  opioids, offering many patients a brand new life, free of many of the burdens of persistent pain.
You would have the opportunity to do initial consults with patients to review their physical presentation as well as diagnostic studies and past medical history to help determine if they are candidates for Interventional Pain Procedures, and which procedure they are most likely to benefit from. You would then be able to follow these patients to identify their response to said procedures and determine an appropriate continued plan of care. There is also the possibility of becoming credentialed to perform some interventional procedures.
