||Northern Light Home Care & Hospice has a great position for an accountant wanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! You would be responsible for assisting with accounts receivable functions and supporting departmental leadership in the accounting functions of the organization. Your responsibilities include documenting financial transactions by entering account information and recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options; summarizing current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports. Your responsibilities include preparation of journal entries, analyses, financial statements and reports.Your responsibility also includesaccomplishing monthly bank account reconciliations, completing cash-flow statements, and assisting with yearly budgets and audits. Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, Home Care & Hospice provides you with a variety of experiences. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the administrative team.Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent in professional knowledge and experience
Fouryears accounting experience
Knowledge of Medicare and commercial payer coding
Competent in the organization's financial software system and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written, and telephonic means
Willing to travel occasionally state-wide.
