Manage various Information Security front-end and back-end software and hardware solutionsParticipates in assigned tasks as it relates to regulatory compliance related actives and remediation efforts.Evaluates and works on current and incoming systems Completes assigned tasks of routine to moderate complexity related to projects and technical requests. Education and Experience
•High school diploma/equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.•At least two (2) years relevant experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
•One or more relevant security certifications (GSEC, Security+, etc.) preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional business manner and ability to interact with people of differing professional levels.
•Working knowledge of healthcare security & compliance regulations.
•Experience in supporting front-end and back-end application systems and associated troubleshooting techniques.
•Experience in cybersecurity best practices, security terms and healthcare related privacy regulations.
•Ability to interpret architecture and design configurations from vendors or other teams to enable clear implementation standards and guidelines.
•Able to interact effectively with clinicians, information systems resources, peers, and management staff from hospitals (from critical access hospitals to a tertiary referral center), other Member Organizations, and vendors in a manner that represents EMHS positively.
•Completes assigned tasks related to projects and technical requests, and provides support in all areas of departments tasks and initiatives. Able to be largely self-directed once assigned work and can function with considerable independence.
•Experience using tools for monitoring performance and troubleshooting problems and analyzing metrics.
•Experience in implementing and integrating new security systems into an existing environment.
•Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts and strong written communication skills.
•Provides excellent customer service to all levels of employees including customers, peers, and leadership.
•Leads small in inter and intra-departmental committees and groups.
•Participates in the evaluation and estimation of routine work requests and minor projects.
•Works in a normal office environment.
•Works in wiring closets and utility spaces that may be warmer and/or have a higher ambient noise level than other areas, but not at such a level as to require protective clothing or equipment.
•Must be able to work and think independently.
•Occasional irregular hours
•Willing to travel by air and ground.
•Must be able to speak and communicate clearly and effectively.
•Must be able to hear speech.
•Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities.
•Must be able to travel to various EMHS sites.
•Participate in periodic on-call rotation.
•This position may be eligible for situational offsite work.
