||The Practice Manager for the Medical Group will be responsible for a broad array of duties tied to improving efficiency, quality, and financial performance of the physician practices. The Practice Manager will work with the Lead Physician, Director, Clinical and Office Staff to further the goals of the practice. The general approach for leading the practice is to collaborate with the Lead Physician in a Dyad Model of Leadership where decisions are made collaboratively. In the event that the Practice Manager and the Lead Physician disagree on an approach, the Director, Administrator, and/or Medical Director for physician practices should be consulted. The Practice Manager will collaborate with other Practice Management Team members to assure that dashboards and metrics established are utilized. The Practice Manager is responsible for tracking and driving key projects and change in areas she/he are responsible. She/he also has a responsibility to maintain an awareness and understanding of healthcare industry changes. The Practice Manager will share responsibility with the assigned Director for practices reaching their goals. She/he is responsible to interface with outside agencies to ensure reimbursement: CAQH, monthly/quarterly payor attestations (PCMH, Medical Home, and commercials), collaboration with Accountable Care Organization efforts, etc. Responsible for day-to-day management of entire practice, to include Clinical Staff in conjunction with the Clinical Lead.Education/Experience Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree in business administration or healthcare related field · Experience in motivating a work force required· 3 years of supervisory experience required· Experience in quality improvement required, (e.g., Data Management, Project Management, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred)Education/Experience Preferred: · Master's degree or higher in business or healthcare related field.· Greater than 5 years' experience working in a leadership role in physician practices· Thorough knowledge of financial statements, billing processes, accounts receivable management, as well as thorough appreciation of coding criteria· History of creation of dashboard indicators of performance experience in project management· Significant experience working in a physician practice· Experience with scheduling, front desk/check in/out, billing processes· Experience with physician reimbursement rules and regulationsOther Skills required· Computer skill· Project Management· People & communication skills· Exercise initiative and sound judgment· Team player· Lean engineering· Multi-tasking· Independent· Ability to function in demanding situations and maintain clear thinking· Proficient in Microsoft Office productsOther Skills preferred:· Documented training in healthcare finance and/or quality improvement processes· Broad set of software skills to assess productivity/budget performance: scheduling, power pivot, EPSI, Report to Web, Lawson, Practice Management ReportsPhysical Requirements: Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, walking and stretching, hearing/verbal/visual acuity, ability to keyboard for extended periods of time.Working Environment: A busy, often times stressful, ambulatory facility providing direct patient care, considerable amount of direct patient/customer contact
