POSITION SUMMARY:
The goal of this position is to provide high quality, efficient support of Supply Chain analytics, Infor Cloud Suite ERP, GPO and local contracting activities, and EDI processes. To be successful, the person in this position needs to have a thorough understanding of supply chain operations, healthcare operations, analytical tools and methods, reporting systems, functional expertise in enterprise level ERP applications, knowledge of GPO contracting, EDI functionality and support, proven mentoring ability, a commitment to high quality customer service, and the ability to prioritize. This position involves working together with analysts in creating repots designed to exploit mis-utilization of supplies in the healthcare setting, and as such, requires knowledge of procedural and diagnosis coding and standard nomenclature.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with others in support of operational policies to attain organizational and system goals.
  • Participate in leadership forums, committees, and/or other interdisciplinary, organizational, and system performance improvement activities.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information within areas of responsibility.
  • Provide system-wide analysis support for projects and various initiatives.
  • Propose recommendations for improvements to financial and business reporting and processes.
  • Influences, drives, and manages change associated with standardization, clinical utilization, and use of technology to affect cost savings and increase effectiveness and customer service.
  • Develops and supports process for sharing information within Supply Chain and across the organization.
  • Uses clinical and business information to drive recommendations and solutions. Creates and adds value for the customer.
  • Supports NLH organizational improvement plans.
  • Assists Supply Chain on product review and maximizing system savings opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Manages implementation of EDI transaction sets, EDI table maintenance, and ANSI X12 EDI standards; includes implementing and maintaining a host of EDI transaction sets such as the 850 (Purchase Order), 810 (Invoice), the 856 (advance Ship Notice), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgement) as well as vendor management within the GHX.
  • Responsible for functional support and oversight of Infor Cloud Suite ERP Supply Chain including item master management, data integrity, and ensuring data standards are maintained through additions, deletions, and changes to system data.
  • Provide technical, functional, clinical, and operational mentoring to customers of all levels within the organization. Plan, design, research, write and edit a range of documents including; user guides, manuals, training materials, deployment documents, and test and acceptance plans.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPECTATIONS:
  • Knowledge of contemporary business practices acquired through graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in business, data analytics, mathematics, finance, management or administration required.
  • Experience in Value Analysis and healthcare data analysis preferred.Minimum five years' experience with Supply Chain Analytics required and seven years' experience in Data Analytics preferred. Experience and knowledge of Supply Chain practices and procedures required.
  • Knowledge of Patient Safety and Regulatory Standards, Healthcare Policy, and Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines required.
  • Ability to interface and work closely with clinicians, leveraging technical, clinical, and contractual knowledge to assess the completeness and reliability of data and validity and accuracy of analytical results.
  • Assists Supply Chain on product review and maximizing system savings opportunities.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
