Job Summary:

Supports the IAM technologies, processes and controls of theInformation Security program in alignment with regulatory compliancerequirements, policies, and risk management standards. Participates in assignedtasks supporting identity management and access control activities to ensuredata confidentiality, integrity and availability. Evaluates current and new systemsto ensure compliance with access control standards and works on complexproblems where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of variousfactors. Completes assigned tasks of routine to moderate complexity related toprojects and technical requests. Provides more advanced support in all areas ofthe department's tasks and initiatives. Largely self-directed once assignedwork and functions with considerable independence.

General Job Duties:

Manage various Information Security front-end and back-endsoftware and hardware solutions.

Participates in assigned tasks as it relates to regulatorycompliance related actives and remediation efforts.

Evaluates and works on current and incoming systems.

Completes assigned tasks of routine to moderate complexityrelated to projects and technical requests.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED and 2-4 years relevant experiencerequired, preferably in Healthcare.

• Associates degree in a related field or equivalentrelevant experience preferred.

• One or more relevant security certifications (GSIF,Security+, etc.) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, aprofessional business manner and ability to interact with people of differingprofessional levels.

• Working knowledge of healthcare security & complianceregulations.

• Experienced in supporting front-end and back-endapplication systems and associated troubleshooting techniques.

• Working knowledge in cybersecurity best practices,security terms and healthcare related privacy regulations.

• Able to interact effectively with clinicians, informationsystems resources, peers, and management staff from hospitals (from criticalaccess hospitals to a tertiary referral center), other Member Organizations,and vendors in a manner that represents EMHS positively.

• Completes assigned tasks related to projects and technicalrequests and provides support in all areas of department tasks and initiatives.Able to be largely self-directed once assigned work and can function withconsiderable independence.

• Experience using tools for monitoring performance andtroubleshooting problems and analyzing metrics.

• Experienced in implementing new security systems into anexisting environment.

• Provides excellent customer service to all levels ofemployees including customers, peers, and leadership.

• Coordinates and participates in inter andintra-departmental committees and groups.

• Executes project tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Works in a normal office environment.

• Works in wiring closets and utility spaces that may bewarmer and/or have a higher ambient noise level than other areas, but not atsuch a level as to require protective clothing or equipment.

• Must be able to work and think independently.

• Occasional irregular hours

• Willing to travel by air and ground.

• Must be able to speak and communicate clearly andeffectively.

• Must be able to hear speech.

• Must be able to adapt to frequently changing workpriorities.

• Must be able to travel to various EMHS sites.

• Participate in periodic on-call rotation as needed.

• This position may be eligible for situational offsitework.
