Job Summary:

The DataAnalyst assists in the planning and coordination of performance measurementefforts, including data collection, data mining, organizing and some interpreting.and maintaining data bases, andpreparing reports. Data Analyst will maintain API/payroll records for theBehavioral Health Home team. Thesuccessful candidate will be organized, have theability to plan, a high attention to detail, strong critical thinking andproblem solving skills, the ability to communicate (verbal and written) to avariety of clinical, administrative, and support staff, as well as thecapability to function independently and as part of a team. Performany duties and/or responsibilities assigned by Manager or Supervisor for whichqualified.

ProfessionalRequirements:

Bachelors degree required. Familiarity withhealthcare environment, health care related research and data managementpreferred. Knowledge of research methodsand/or the Performance Improvement cycle.Proficiency with MS Office products, excellent oral and writtencommunication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and ability to workunder pressure with precision and accuracy.Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects and strong critical thinking. Motivated and ambitious worker who takesinitiative in process improvement and problem solving. Maintainspatient confidentiality at all times.Represents organization in a positive and professional manner in thecommunity. Maintains regulatoryrequirements, including the Joint Commission, and Local, Federal andState. Complies with all organizationalpolicies regarding EMHS's Code of Conduct and ethical business practices.

Language Skills:

Mustpossess good oral and written communication skills in the English language.

Physical Demands:

Visual acuity, colorvision, hearing acuity, and tactile sensation are necessary to respond topatient response and requests. The ability to read and speak English, tocommunicate and document information. Must possess the manual dexterity and adegree of body strength and flexibility to respond to aggressive patientbehavior. The ability to reach and stretch intermittently. Time may be spentsitting at a computer, collaborating with other healthcare team members.Standing and walking comprises some of the workday.
