Pharmacy technician I are an essential member of staff at Northern Light Pharmacy. Technicians provide support for multiple facets of the operations of the Pharmacy, including exceptional customer service, answer phone in a timely manner, patient interaction, data entry, prescription preparation and sales of prescriptions, other merchandise, stock, order and maintain front store product.Duties include but are not limited to: processing and filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assist in receiving physician's orders, inventory ordering and control and completing sale transactions. Extensive phone use required.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent. Must complete registration with Maine Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician within one month of accepting position, if not currently registered with Board of Pharmacy. Must renew certification annually. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.
