||POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director, responsible for working in a fast paced demanding customer service setting. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Front line customer service skills, knowledge of insurance referrals, IC-10 and CPT coding experience preferred. Other duties include appointment scheduling, daily confirmation of procedures, charging, ordering inventory and pre-registration. Clinical responsibilities include; performing EKG's, Holtor and Event monitoring applications and uploading of data.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree from a medical secretarial or medical assistant program or at least four (4) years of equivalent experience and medical terminology required. PC competent. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Two years in a hospital, clinical or healthcare provider office preferred. Experience in fast paced demanding customer service setting.LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Current BLS certification required.
