||MAJOR FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Support the development of a systematic foundation and corporate gift/grant solicitation and stewardship program consistent with Northern Light Health's capital, programmatic, educational and research goals and objectives.1.1. Coordinate with Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Grants Services staff, Foundation colleagues, and other internal partners as needed, on proposal development and administration.1.2. Maintain knowledge of Northern Light Health system and member organization priorities, initiatives, and recent awards to advance proposal development.1.3. Compose, edit, and/or coordinate written materials, including proposals and budgets, in support of grant solicitations.1.4. Track and ensure deadlines for the submission of proposals are met, and the relevant internal partners are updated on progress.1.5. Conduct corporation and foundation prospect research on a routine basis.2. In collaboration with the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Donor Relations and Grant Services develop and manage a stewardship program for corporation and foundation contributors. 2.1. Work with Advancement Services, Grant Services and Finance to correctly log and track grant awards.2.2. Track and ensure deadlines are met for the submission of reports and other stewardship information; engage relevant internal partners as needed.2.3. Coordinate institutional funder communications, opportunities for direct engagement and site visits.2.4. Maintain relevant corporate and foundation prospect records to ensure fundraising moves are appropriately and timely documented.3. Maintain and manage a small portfolio of corporations and foundations through all stages of the development process to meet specific funding goals.4. Perform related assigned duties as directed by the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree preferred andor a minimum of five years related experience in grant writing, project planning and strategy and/or philanthropy. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Grant proposal writing and funder research experience, preferably in healthcare or higher education advancement.• Customer service orientation.• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse constituencies, handle shifting priorities, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in an efficient and organized manner• Significant experience with word processing, spreadsheets, relational database software, and corporate and foundation fundraising research software programs. Preference given to candidates with working knowledge of RaisersEdge/NXT, Amplifund, and FoundationSearch (FSA) or similar tools.• Familiarity with data analytics, project planning tools, and database maintenance a plus.• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across organizational boundaries.• Must be tactful, discreet, and able to deal with confidential information sensitively.
