||Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Licensed in the State of Maine able to provide comprehensive occupational therapy for psychiatric; chemical dependency; inpatients; outpatients; children; adolescents; adults; and geriatrics, including one-on-one treatment and group treatment. These interventions are designed to improve skills in the following areas: Activities of Daily Living (ADL), cognitive functioning, work and school performance, leisure and recreational skills, community re-entry, Independent Living Skills, sensory integration, and psychosocial skills.QualificationsDegree from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.Certified and licensed (or license eligible as a new grad) as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Maine.Psychiatric/chemical dependency experience preferred. Able to provide a range of occupational therapy treatments including one-on-one and group experiences to develop work skills, address aftercare issues and skills training. Able to assist with the administration of standardized screenings and assessments.Willingness and ability to function as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.Must be able to perform required tasks in an indoor and outdoor environment of medium demand.
