||Reports directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager and is responsible to work with patients to resolve patient financial issues. This position will be proactive in seeking out patients needing financial assistance in all areas of service. Responsible to counsel patients on financial obligations, collect payments, set up payment arrangements, work out settlements, assist with price quotes and answer patient financial related questions. Will provide free care applications when appropriate. Works self-pay accounts using system reports, analyzes accounts to respond to patient concerns or complaints.Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Previous experience in medical setting preferred
Previous experience with revenue cycle preferred
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is necessary

This position entails extensive customer service and phone utilization visual and auditory acuity, finger-wrist repetitive motion, and utilization of a computer/keyboard. This position requires being seated for long periods of time; standing, walking; considerable amount of work on the telephone; work in an office environment with exposure to the public. High noise level due to multiple phones and conversations.
