||New Graduate Nurse Program!Placements available in our Med/Surg Department with expected opportunity to cross train! The purpose of this position is to provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures and to assess patients' care needs and take appropriate action. Applicant provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.The Nursing School New Graduate (NSGN) has graduated from an accredited nursing school and is eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam. TheNSGNis not expected to have a skill set beyond what is learned in the clinical and classroom setting. TheNSGN is engaged in an intensive orientation that involves learning specific skills. Authorization to Test has been provided prior to hire and test date is within60 days of hire. BLS Certification within one month of hire. Must Have, or be eligible to obtain, an active certification or licensure such as CNA, LPN, CST, Pharmacy Tech or other eligible licensure approved by VP of Nursing
