Job Details $Sign-On Bonus$ for experienced RN meeting eligibility criteria. OurBangor location has a great position for a registered nurse wanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! You would be responsible for providing consultative and direct clinical services to home care patients through assessment, and development and implementation of a plan of care, in consultation with physicians and families. You would assume a lead role in our home health and hospice programs, providing mentorship to other members of the team, assist in providing in-home skilled supervision, conduct staff education, and complete Quality review activities in the EMR. Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, Northern Light Health Home Care & Hospice provides you with a variety of nursing experiences, ranging from caring for patients with medical/surgical needs as well as caring for patients with hospice and palliative care needs. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the patient care team.

Diploma or Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing or the equivalent in professional knowledge and experience
Certification (or willing to obtain within one year of hire) as an OASIS Specialist-Clinical by the OASIS Certificate and Competency Board
Five years nursing experience, one of which is in home health care
Current ME license to practice as a registered professional nurse
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
Computer competency and evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written and telephonic means; ability to make decisions regarding priority of work, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to understand specific instructions
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance.
Ability to travel in assigned service area.
