1.  Visit the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Search FirstUp and download the app. FirstUp is the platform we are partnering with to bring you the Campfire app.

3. Open FirstUp and enter NLH as the organization code.

Note: The first time you log in to the app, you will be prompted to log in using your @northernlight email address and network password.

Campfire FAQs


The Campfire App is a new tool that allows you to access personalized content, real-time news feed, and resources on your phone, tablet, or computer. It gives all Northern Light Health employee a space to gather, engage, and connect with colleagues and leadership.
 

The Campfire App is powered by FirstUp, the company we’ve partnered with to bring the bring the latest news and info to you.

The Campfire App is free for all Northern Light Health employees, however your cell plan’s message and data rates may apply.

Specific employee data (employee number, email address, location, department, and app usage) may be collected to support functionality of the Campfire App. Northern Light Health will NOT have access to other data on your phone outside of the app.
 

While you are not required to use the Campfire App, we hope you’ll give it a shot! We think you’ll like everything it has to offer and find it to be a useful tool.

  1. Download FirstUp from your phone’s app store
  2. Click “Have an organization code?”
  3. Enter the “NLH” for the organization code
  4. At the bottom of the page click “Don’t have an account? Join Now”
  5. Sign in using your @northernlight.org email address and network password
You’re in! Check out your channels, customize your profile, like content and bookmark important information for later.
 

No. By using the Campfire App, you understand and accept that your use of the Campfire app is entirely voluntary and is not required as a condition of employment with NLH. Campfire is not considered work time and you will not be compensated for any time spent accessing the app, if such access occurs outside of normal work hours.

Once you have downloaded the FirstUp App, you will have access to Campfire right on your phone. You can also access the Campfire App on your computer by going to https://advocate.socialchorus.com/NLH/northernlighthealth/welcome.
 

Enabling push notifications on the Campfire App is not required, but we highly recommend it so you are alerted when important messages are available.

Yes! Much like social media, we encourage all staff to create, share and like newsworthy posts within Campfire.
