In January 2024, Acadia Hospital opened its new, state-of-the-art pediatric inpatient wing, known as the Katahdin Building. From private patient rooms to better ensure privacy and safety to modern occupational therapy spaces, bright and cheerful social and therapeutic areas and more, the new facility utilizes modern design elements to further enhance the outstanding behavioral healthcare Acadia Hospital provides and offers a safe, therapeutic environment for children, adolescents, and our staff.
