Thank you for joining us for our 29th annual walk on Saturday, October 21!
Our event helps to increase awareness of the importance of mammograms as well as raise money to support women’s health services at Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield. Funds raised through registration, and individual or team fundraising efforts, will go toward free mammograms, equipment or other service needs to enhance the care we provide.
Rainy weather is expected this Saturday, October 21 - the day of our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk - but the event is still on! You’ll be glad to hear that we won’t be getting wet! If it's still raining that morning, we'll plan to move the walk route indoors to the Wright Gym on the MCI campus in Pittsfield. Look for the signs and join us at 9:45 am for a warm, dry walk to raise funds for mammograms. Or if no rain, attendees can choose to walk outdoors for a one mile or two mile walk! Everything starts at the Wright Gym - rain or shine!
Registration is $20 per person. Register online today or download/print a registration form and pledge form. You can bring your registration form/pledge funds raised to the event or drop them off at the Women’s Health Center at Sebasticook Valley Hospital, 447 North Main Street, Pittsfield (attached to the hospital).
Participants who attend the in-person walk on October 21 will receive a gift as our thanks for participating.
