We recognize that staying independent while aging can be a challenge. We all want to remain at home for as long as possible. Knowing that someone will speak with you every Monday through Friday can be reassuring.
Our telecare is a free daily call reassurance program offered to seniors who live alone.
Most times a friendly voice to chat about the weather or the day’s event makes you feel better. If something more serious has occurred, volunteers are prepared to help.
If you can’t be reached at your call time, our volunteers check with family, friends, and hospitals to locate you. No matter what may have happened, telecare volunteers will ensure that you are safe and get you any help you may need.
