The Trauma Nurse Core Course is a 16 hour (two-day) course combining core-level trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional Nurse Care to the Trauma Patient. The course is presented through lectures and “hands-on” skills stations. The faculty consists of registered nurses who have successfully completed both the TNCC Provider and TNCC Instructor courses. Instructors meet ENA guidelines for teaching and have extensive clinical trauma experience. Topics Include: Mechanism of Injury, Initial Assessment of Patients, Shock Trauma (all forms), Psychosocial Aspects of Trauma, Stabilization & Transfer of Care.

Accreditation: The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
