Neurovascular

Neurovascular, or vascular neurosurgery, is treating patients with disorders of the blood vessels in the brain and neck. We treat a wide variety of vascular disorders including ischemic stroke, brain aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation (AVM), carotid stenosis, Moyamoya disease, cavernous malformation, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Our team includes fellowship trained vascular neurosurgeons who perform endovascular and open surgical treatment for these disorders of the arteries and veins in the brain and neck.

We use the latest minimally invasive technologies including flow-diversion stents, intra-saccular devices, titanium coils, and embolization materials to treat a variety of vascular disorders of the brain and spine. Treatments can often be performed with only a needle stick for access into the artery or vein in the leg or wrist. Many patients go home the day after their procedure with no scars or incisions and little, if any, recovery time.
