Hugh Jones

Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Northern Light Health

Hugh A. Jones, MBA is a senior vice president and chief strategy officer of Northern Light Health.

In his role, Hugh is charged with helping to advance the system’s Integrated Strategic Financial Plan (ISFP) and ensuring alignment around common strategies. He will also provide leadership for planning, grants and community health, clinical affiliation relationships, and advocacy and government relations.

Hugh approaches the many challenges and opportunities facing healthcare with a community-first perspective and is passionate about growing the capabilities of healthcare providers to impact the total health of the patients, families, and communities that invest their trust in us. 

He has more than 30 years of diverse industry experience in multiple markets including with large national providers Kaiser Permanente and Trinity Health. Prior to joining Northern Light Health, Hugh most recently served as vice president of strategy and managed care at Central Maine Healthcare and he is excited to be able to continue to serve Maine people.
